Questions buyers ask

What warranty do you give?

15 years on Robinia timber against rot that affects strength, and up to 25 years on galvanised steel posts and stainless components. Moving parts, ropes and springs have shorter periods. Full terms are available on request.

Will Robinia crack?

Yes, and that is normal. Robinia is used as natural round timber, so fine surface cracks (checking) appear as it dries and weathers. They are cosmetic and do not affect the strength or safety of the structure.

Can you give budget costs before a site survey?

Yes. From your site dimensions and requirements we can usually give indicative costs by the next working day. A survey then confirms the final specification.

Do you install the equipment yourselves?

Yes. Survey, design and installation are all carried out by our own DBS-checked teams. We do not subcontract installation.

What safety standards do you work to?

Play equipment to BS EN 1176, safety surfacing to EN 1177 and outdoor fitness equipment to BS EN 16630, with inspection documentation at handover.

Can Robinia equipment go on grass?

Often, yes. Where the free-fall height is 1.0 m or less, grass is allowed. Taller pieces need impact-absorbing surfacing, which we quote alongside.

Are you set up for public sector procurement?

Yes. We are CHAS accredited and Constructionline Gold, with £10m public liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.
