The task
We were asked to carry out repair works to a series of elements brought up by a recent play inspection report.
Cable runway
Carefully uplift 54m2 of ‘Safagrass’ surface matting. Clean the built up soil from the mats and dispose of the soil on site. Supply and lay 54m2 of ‘Techmesh’ underlay. Relay ‘Safagrass’ surfacing with new zip ties and edging pins.
Supply and install new button seat from manufacturer.
Tension zip line to achieve correct function and ground clearance.
Cable Runway with relayed grass matting and newly laid underlay.
Space net
Access the four corner adjustment screws and tension to stabilise the central post.
N.B This post is designed to have some movement, as the post is located onto a top hat section 400mm below the surface where the fit is fairly loose. There is no concrete around this post, only around the top hat section, on which it is located. Supply and lay sufficient Safagrass to patch the missing section on top of the access chamber.
