What is a spring rocker?

A spring rocker — also called a springer or spring rider — is a moulded seat mounted on one or more heavy-duty steel springs, so a child rocks and bounces while gripping handholds. They are a staple of early-years play: low to the ground, simple to use and brilliant for building balance, core strength and confidence in the youngest children. Morti supplies single, multi-seat and group rockers in a wide choice of animal, vehicle and themed designs.

Built for busy public playgrounds

Our rockers are built from galvanised, powder-coated steel with hard-wearing colour HDPE bodies, heavy-duty coiled springs and anti-corrosion, plastic-capped fixings. Every unit is manufactured to BS EN 1176 and backed by our standard warranty: 48 months on the whole unit, 10 years on HDPE panels and 15 years on structural steelwork. Impact-absorbing surfacing appropriate to the free-fall height is required, and we can advise on the right surface for your site.

Who installs Morti spring rockers

Our rocker range is specified by nurseries and early-years settings, primary and infant schools, SEND and special schools, local authorities and parish councils, housing developers, holiday parks, pubs and visitor attractions. We're happy to provide specifications and quotations to support a funding bid or tender, including school capital budgets, Section 106 contributions and local grants.
