What is a playground climbing wall?

A playground climbing wall is a free-standing structure with bolt-on holds, panels or net faces that children scale, traverse and problem-solve their way across. Alongside walls, this range includes geometric climbing boulders, towers and domes — vertical and three-dimensional challenges that build upper-body strength, grip, balance and planning. Because they pack a lot of challenge into a small footprint, climbing structures suit tight school yards as well as large parks, and they're particularly popular with older, more confident children.

• Towers — the Square Climbing Tower and Triangular Climbing Tower for compact vertical play.
• Boulders & domes — geometric challenges such as the Dodecahedron Climbing Sphere, Geodesic Climbing Dome and Three-Sphere Dodecahedron Cluster.
• Large complexes — the Five-Sphere Dodecahedron Climbing Chain, Three-Sphere Climbing Net Bridge and Multi-Activity Climbing Complex as destination centrepieces.

Built for busy public playgrounds

Our climbing structures are built from galvanised, powder-coated steel with steel-cored PP rope nets, anti-slip panels, professional climbing holds and anti-corrosion fixings. Every unit is manufactured to BS EN 1176 and backed by our standard warranty: 48 months on the whole unit, 10 years on HDPE panels and 15 years on structural steelwork. Impact-absorbing surfacing appropriate to the free-fall height is required, and we can advise on the right surface for your site.

Who installs Morti climbing structures

Our climbing range is specified by primary and secondary schools, nurseries and early-years settings, SEND and special schools, local authorities and parish councils, housing developers, holiday parks, pubs and visitor attractions. We're happy to provide specifications and quotations to support a funding bid or tender, including school capital budgets, Section 106 contributions and local grants.
