This multi-activity climbing frame offers a full mix of climbing, coordination and movement challenges, making it a standout addition to school playgrounds, parks and community spaces. The structure features multiple rope nets, a climbing wall, overhead traverse bars, hand-grip rings, a crawl-through tunnel and rope ladders, creating a varied and engaging play experience for KS1 and KS2 children. Built with durable posts, galvanised steel bars, and reinforced playground rope, the unit is designed for heavy daily use and long-term reliability. Its combination of vertical and horizontal challenges supports strength, balance, agility and confidence-building while encouraging group play. Perfect as a standalone feature or integrated into a wider trim trail.
Manufactured using laminated, impregnated and double-coated pine wood , selected without knots for maximum strength and finished with polypropylene post caps for weather protection. Structural components are fixed to hot-dip galvanised steel anchors, keeping the timber clear of ground contact to prevent rot and extend lifespan.
Play surfaces and climbing walls are made from anti-slip, waterproof plywood or HPL panels, with a polypropylene double-wall crawl tube integrated into the unit. Climbing stones are formed from HDPE, resistant to wear and UV.
Rope elements use steel-core ropes with polypropylene braid, connected via durable polyamide, stainless-steel or aluminium components. Rope ladders feature synthetic rungs, while moving sections are supported by calibrated stainless-steel chains designed to avoid finger entrapment.
The frame includes stainless-steel bars and handrails, with all fixings either stainless steel or protected beneath polypropylene safety caps. All ends are finished with impact-resistant polypropylene caps. Fully compliant with EN 1176 public playground safety standards.
