Overview

An eight-sided Robinia shelter with a boarded hipped roof and open sides, made as an outdoor classroom and meeting point for schools, nurseries, parks and community sites. It gives a group a dry, shaded space for lessons, story time and forest school sessions, and its natural Robinia structure blends into school grounds, woodland and green spaces. The 5 m model shown is 5.00 m across and 3.50 m high, with 1.60 m clearance at the eaves, eight round Robinia posts set 0.9 m into the ground and eight roof sides of 1.95 m. We supply other diameters to suit the site and the group size. As a shelter rather than play equipment, it needs no impact-absorbing surfacing.
