A compact Robinia swing with one belt seat hung between two natural timber posts, with no top beam. Children sit on the seat and swing, pushed by an adult or pumping with their legs, which builds core strength, coordination and timing, and the steady motion helps many children settle. The posts stand 1.6 m high and 1.6 m apart, so it fits small sites where a full swing frame would not. It suits ages 1+ in nurseries, school grounds and parks. The safety zone is 6.6 x 1.8 m (12 m²), and with a free-fall height of 0.8 m, BS EN 1176-1 allows it to sit on grass.
