Construction & Materials
Posts constructed from laminated, impregnated and double-coated pine timber (90 × 90mm) secured with polypropylene caps. Hot-dip galvanised steel anchors prevent ground contact and extend timber lifespan. Rope elements use steel-core ropes with polypropylene braid, connected with durable plastic, stainless steel or aluminium fixings. Calibrated stainless steel chains prevent finger entrapment. All fixings are stainless steel or protected by polypropylene safety caps.
Safety & Installation
Independently tested and certified to EN1176 playground equipment safety standards. With a fall height of 1.9m, appropriate impact-absorbing surfacing to EN1177 is required — Morti Sport & Play can advise on wetpour, rubber mulch or grass mat options to suit your site and budget. Full design, supply and installation service available across the UK. Annual inspection recommended for school and public installations.
