Overview
A compact pirate boat for toddlers, nurseries and early years settings. Children step aboard a low rubber deck at 0.25 m between the bow and stern, take the ship's wheel, look out through the telescope and spin the bead panels on the mast, while the timber hull sides give a sheltered space for hiding and quiet play. Up to nine children from age 1 can play together, building fine motor skills, early language and social play through role play. The low deck and easy access suit children with disabilities as well. The boat is built from Robinia with HPL sail and panels, and is certified to BS EN 1176-1:2017+A1:2023. It needs a 25 m² safety zone with impact-absorbing surfacing, as the free-fall height is 1.1 m.
