The Large Timber Adventure Multi-Play Unit is a premium, full-body play structure that brings together climbing, balancing, crawling and imaginative play into one impressive centrepiece — designed for KS1 and KS2 school playgrounds, parks, councils and community spaces where play quality and physical development are the priority. With a capacity of 51 users and a footprint of 20m², this unit is built for high-footfall environments. Children can build strength on the vertical rope net climbers, develop balance on the flexible wobble bridges, improve coordination across the rope elements, and engage in imaginative group play on the raised platforms and activity panels. Anti-slip plywood and HDPE platforms, along with stainless-steel fixings and calibrated entrapment-safe chains, ensure the unit performs safely under intensive daily use. Constructed from laminated, impregnated and double-coated pine timber posts with hot-dip galvanised steel anchors, steel-cored rope elements and stainless steel hardware throughout. Independently tested and certified to EN1176. Suitable for ages 3–14. Designed, supplied and installed by Morti Sport & Play.
Construction & Materials
- Posts: Laminated, impregnated and double-coated pine timber (90 × 90mm), topped with polypropylene caps
- Anchors: Hot-dip galvanised steel to prevent ground contact and timber rot
- Platforms & Panels: Anti-slip waterproof plywood and/or HPL and HDPE components
- Rope Elements: Steel-cored ropes with polypropylene braid, joined with durable plastic, aluminium or stainless-steel connectors
- Ladders & Climbers: Rope ladders with synthetic rungs and steel-cored construction
- Chains: Calibrated stainless-steel chains designed to prevent finger entrapment
- Metal Components: Stainless-steel bars, fixings and handrails
- Fixings: Stainless or galvanised screws with protective polypropylene caps

Safety & Installation
Independently tested and certified to EN1176 playground equipment safety standards. With a fall height of 2.2m, appropriate impact-absorbing surfacing to EN1177 is required — Morti Sport & Play can advise on wetpour, rubber mulch or grass mat solutions to suit your site and budget. Full design, supply and installation service available across the UK. Annual inspection recommended for school and public installations.
