Large Robinia Pirate Ship – Three-Tower Play Structure with Slides, Rope Bridge & Fireman's Pole
Three-tower Robinia pirate ship with two slides, rope bridge, fireman's pole and play panels. 40 users, ages 3+, BS EN 1176-1. For schools and parks.
Overview
A large pirate ship for busy schools and parks, with play for up to 40 children at once. Three Robinia towers with decks at 0.9 m and 1.5 m are reached by timber steps, rope ladders and climbing nets, and linked across the middle by a rope bridge. Children steer at the ship's wheel, look out through the telescopes and come down by two stainless steel slides or the fireman's pole. Below deck, a rubber hammock, speaking tubes and play panels give quieter, social play. The mix of routes up and down suits a wide range of abilities from age 3 and builds strength, balance and confidence. The ship is certified to BS EN 1176-1:2017+A1:2023 and needs a 76.5 m² safety zone with impact-absorbing surfacing, as the free-fall height is 1.5 m.
