Overview
A traditional all-Robinia swing for busy schools and parks. Six Robinia posts form three A-frames carrying a log crossbar, with two flat rubber seats in each of the two bays, so four children can swing at once. Swinging builds core strength and coordination, gives a calming, rhythmic motion and encourages turn-taking, from age 3. The natural Robinia frame suits woodland, rural and landscaped play areas. The swing is 7.60 m long and 2.47 m high, needs a 57 m² safety zone with impact-absorbing surfacing, as the free-fall height is 1.5 m, and installs in about seven hours.
