Overview
A row of vertical climbing ropes hung between angled steel posts. Children climb the ropes using the grip points along each one, building grip, upper-body strength and coordination. With a free-fall height of just 1.0 m, grass or turf is a permitted surface, which keeps installation simple on existing grassed sites. It works as a strength station in a school or park trim trail, and up to 5 children can climb at once. Galvanised, powder-coated steel posts carry steel-core rope with plastic, stainless steel or aluminium connectors and calibrated stainless steel chains. Certified to BS EN 1176-1 for ages 4–14.
